About the Author
Jerry Tennant, MD, MD(H), PScD is an awarded ophthalmologist that performed most of the research for the company VISX to get approval for its laser that is used in LASIK surgery. There truly is no other book like it

I have a rather full library of books on health as I have sought to understand a physical problem i have suffered for 10 years that is now finally resolving. In my journey few books have had as much real solid information as this one. I congratulate the author, not only for a well written book, but for the immense about of original research reported to us. Dr. Tennant has defined and codified the use of electricity in the body. He has mapped the "wiring" to all body parts and has provided a system of treatment to the reader that can restore health. He has unified the flows of acupuncture, the chakras and the nervous system. There truly is no other book like it.

The book is now in it's third iteration. Much was added between the 2nd and 3rd publishing. For example the chapter on fulvic acid.

I will state that I have been using an electrical energy device for about 3 years, and if I had not had it, I would hate to contemplate the condition I would be in without it. No, it is not the Biomodulator (his energy device) and I do not mention what it is because I do not want to taint or take away from this review by directing attention elsewhere. The point is, the use of electrons and frequency are vital elements of healing and living fully. Dr. Tennant had gifted us with a treasure in this book. Anyone who wants to understand the use of electrons and frequency in the body will not be disappointed.

Great insight work by Tennant in joining the dots to understand and perform acupuncture from an electro magnetic perspective. A must read and a suitable companion book to "The Body Electric: Electromagnetism And The Foundation Of Life" by Robert Becker and Gary Selden.

I have followed Dr Tennant for a long time. He has a truly amazing grasp on how the body really works. Our health has improved because of what we have learned from him. So glad he wrote this book. I highly recommend it!

About the Author
Lara J. Nettelfield is a Lecturer in International Relations at Royal Holloway, University of London, and author of Courting Democracy in Bosnia and Herzegovina: The Hague Tribunal's Impact in a Postwar State (Cambridge University Press, 2010), winner of the 2011 Marshall Shulman Book Prize of the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies. Prior to joining Royal Holloway, she taught at the University of Exeter, Columbia University and the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals. She received PhD, MPhil and MA degrees in political science from Columbia University, a certificate from Columbia's Harriman Institute, and an AB from the University of California, Berkeley.

Sarah E. Wagner is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at George Washington University and author of To Know Where He Lies: DNA Technology and the Search for Srebrenica's Missing (2008). Prior to joining George Washington, she taught at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro and Harvard University. She received a PhD in social anthropology from Harvard University, a MALD from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, and an AB from Dartmouth College.

Bosnia and the Politics of Memory

As the editorial reviews quoted above demonstrate, this book has already been highly praised by academic experts, but it deserves a wider audience--much wider, indeed, than its forbidding price is likely to attract. "Srebrenica in the Aftermath of Genocide" is a gripping story of suffering and resistance, with broad implications, both ethical and pragmatic. Anyone interested in human rights, international law, or the politics of memory should read it. Readers put off by the price tag should at least recommend it their library, while awaiting a paperback edition.

In June 1995, in and around the Bosnian town of Srebrenica, the Bosnian Serbs' secessionist army slaughtered more than eight thousand unarmed Muslim men and boys. It was the worst atrocity in Europe since the end of World War II, and was formally defined by the International Court of Justice as an act of genocide. As the title suggests, however, this book is not about the massacre per se--for which one should turn to David Rohde's harrowing "Endgame". The focus here is on the survivors, especially the mothers, sisters, and wives of the victims, in their efforts to give meaning to their tragedy. They sought to consecrate the memory of the dead, to bring the perpetrators to justice, and to somehow recreate, as far as possible, their shattered world. Nettelfield and Wagner, as participant observers in their campaigns, bring the women vividly to life. They also provide a shrewd analysis of the mixed motives of the domestic and international actors who supported the women, but who also attempted, in various ways, to manipulate them. Nettelfield and Wagner give a lucid account of the proceedings of the ICTY (International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia), which laid bare the gruesome facts of the massacre, and of the cynical persistence with which the government of the Republika Srpska tried to deny those facts. They also evoke the experience of the Srebrenican diaspora, especially the large community that has settled in St. Louis, and the interaction between that diaspora and those who remain behind.

The book raises, at least by implication, the question whether the term "international community" has any moral meaning at all. Despite the hypocrisy and self-interest that international actors have sometimes displayed, we do get the sense that an international moral consensus, even a sort of global conscience, is hesitantly emerging, and that the women of Srebrenica have helped it grow. But we still have a long way to go before we can say "Never Again!" with any conviction.

Not quite complete

The book starts out well. It builds a case for Sentiment trading, and gets you thinking about how it actually works. The author says technical indicators are a general waste of time (However the latter half of the book is devoted to technical indicators - which makes no sense to sentiment trading... further more... the charts used are actually missing the indicators it says should be there.. pages 142-145... blank charts). Then it begins to fall apart after that. The author explains how he uses COT but never actually helps you understand the COT report itself (if you decide to look at it on line). Nor does the author explain how to set it up on your own spread sheet if you wanted to do that. How to exit a trade is so inadequate as well. Then the time devoted to "putting it all together" is one page of summary that doesn't actually tell you how to put a trading system together. Basically it means you still have a lot of work to do to put together a sentiment trading system as this book doesn't help in doing that. It seems the author attacked the subject with vigour to start with then just dropped the ball half way through and padded it out with indicators - which he says are worthless in the first half of the book anyway. I'd give it 2.5 stars out of 5 as the first half of the book is interesting... the second half you can easily replicate from information on-line and is not relevant to sentiment trading.

Absolutely essential in today's market

As a active FX trader and follower of the methods of Larry Williams Jake Bernstein, I found this book essential to developing a workable, scalable and most importantly...profitable trading plan. Backtested and forward tested...in a word, it works! Solid, straightforward writing, examples and formulas. Recommended highly for the experienced trader; newbies probably won't grasp it. It is not a Holy Grail; the methodology requires a good deal of screen time experience and actual manual trading to calibrate the nuances in both calculations and charting. Slog thru it, you will not be sorry! Thank you Jamie!

Very strong tool to consider in your trade decision making process

I am a long time reader of DailyFX site and find it very useful.
One tool that caught my attention some time ago was the COT report column, write by Jamie Saettele.
The book goes further in explain the COT report itself, how to generate indicators from COT data, how to interpret it and, finally, how to use it as a tool to help trigger trades.
Well explained, with plenty of charts, it also has an introduction to Elliot Wave theory, largely used by the author in his tracking of markets.
I recommend the book because of it introduces this subject in a very straight forward way, easy to understand and apply immediately in your trading routine.

I purchased this for a university course. It was easy to use, and actually manageable to read on a daily basis, since the chapters are mostly small, but full of information. I enjoyed this book and the course. This book is also much smaller, with fewer pages than an average size text book, which is also nice when having to carry it around. Concise

Concise is a sure determining word, alright! Not what you'd want for med school, but perfect for the undergrad getting ready to go. It helps give you a one up, knowing what some of the infectious organisms are. Overall, it's a pretty good by, for the non-doctorate.

Jim Cassidy was previously Professor of Oncology at Aberdeen university (1994-2002), then CRUK Head of Oncology, Beatson Laboratories, Glasgow. He moved into pharma over 2 years ago to head early drug development.

Donald Bissett was schooled in Glasgow, and graduated from St Andrews University 1979 and University of Manchester 1982. Clinical experience in South Manchester Hospitals led to MRCP 1986, then commenced clinical oncology training in Nottingham and Glasgow, with FRCR 1989. Research Fellowship in the Department of Medical Oncology Beatson Institute, with MD and MSc in Clinical Pharmacology 1992. Senior lecturer in Clinical Oncology 1994, then Consultant in Clinical Oncology in Aberdeen 1995-2013 with particular interests in urological and thoracic malignancies.
