Bad Haircut was not quite what I expected. It was about a certain time and place and I didn't find a lot to relate to; but it was well written and amusing in places. Not nearly as interesting as Little Children, which was probably written at a more mature point in the author's life.

About the Author

Val�rie Demouy completed her M.A. in teching French at the University of Pau in France. While teaching French in various British institutions, she developed�a strong interest in beginner and intermediate levels. Clear, easy to use. I tried to study a bit every night on a 40 day hike through southern France. However, given the price particularly,a very serious criticism is that there is no audio in the eBook.

Good book for the price!

The content is very good and the audio is clean. However, the audio comes out too fast for a beginner trying to hear the words for the first time. But, it is great to learn french language at normal speed.
